# 1.2 Account Creation: How to Create a Checker Account

**1.2.1 Preparations Before Registration**

* **Required Information:** A valid email address, a strong password, and a payment method (if choosing a paid plan).
* **Prerequisites:** Must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.

**1.2.2 Step-by-Step Registration Process**

1. **Visit the Website:** Go to <https://app.usechecker.com/register>

1. **Fill Out the Registration Form:**
   * Enter basic information such as first name, last name, and a valid email address.
   * Create a strong password (recommended: at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters).

2. **Email Verification:**
   * After registration, a verification link is sent to the provided email address.
   * Open the email and click on the link to verify your account.\ <br>
